The terms that govern your use of the Finis Code desktop app, cloud platform, and AI assistant.

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Finis Code's desktop application, cloud platform, and mobile apps (the "Service"), operated by Finis Code ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
1. The Service
Finis Code is an AI-assisted ERP platform covering accounting, sales, purchasing, inventory, production, HR, and related business functions, available as a local desktop application and as a multi-tenant cloud service, with an integrated AI assistant ("Finis AI").
2. Accounts and Organizations
You must provide accurate information when creating an account. Joining an organization within the Service is only possible through an invitation from an organization manager. You are responsible for safeguarding your login credentials and for all activity under your account.
3. Subscriptions and AI Credits
Certain features are billed on a subscription basis, including the managed AI plan, which applies weekly and monthly usage limits. If you use your own AI provider key (Bring Your Own Key), the managed plan's usage limits do not apply, but you are responsible for costs billed by your own provider. Fees are described at the time of purchase and are non-refundable except as required by law.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to: (a) use the Service for any unlawful purpose; (b) attempt to circumvent organization data isolation or security controls; (c) reverse engineer the Service except as permitted by law; (d) use the AI assistant to generate content that is illegal, infringing, or harmful; or (e) resell or sublicense the Service without our written consent.
5. Third-Party Plugins
The plugin marketplace may include add-ons built by third parties. We review plugins before listing them, but we are not responsible for the functionality, security, or content of third-party plugins, including community ("unofficial") ones. Install third-party plugins at your own discretion.
6. AI-Generated Content
Finis AI is a tool to help you work faster - it can search, summarize, and take actions inside your ERP data. Like any AI system, it can make mistakes. You are responsible for reviewing AI-suggested actions (such as creating records or generating documents) before relying on them, particularly for financial, tax, and compliance matters.
7. Your Data
You retain ownership of the business data you enter into the Service. You grant us a limited license to process that data solely to provide and improve the Service, as described in our Privacy Policy.
8. Intellectual Property
The Service, including its software, design, and documentation, is owned by Finis Code and protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our trademarks or branding.
9. Termination
You may stop using the Service and request account deletion at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent or abusive activity, or if required by law.
10. Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Finis Code is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including reliance on AI-generated output.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
